The purpose of equipment inspections is to identify defects, faults or risks that could compromise performance, reliability or safety. At DEG Survey & Inspection, we do IANZ-accredited testing on cranes under the PECPR Regs. 1999 at various stages of inspection i.e. fabrication, commissioning, in-service and alterations.

DEG Survey & Inspection provides comprehensive welding inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) services, including welder qualification testing. Our team includes Level 3 certified personnel across all major NDT disciplines, ensuring expert assessment and compliance with industry standards.

Elevated work platforms (EWP) such as scissor lifts and boom lifts are important pieces of machinery that must be tested regularly to ensure safety. All EWPs require a 6-monthly inspection and a major inspection at 10 years then every 5 years by a competent person, to ensure the machine is compliant and safe to operate.

DEG Survey & Inspection delivers end-to-end welding qualification services, including WPS development, welder testing and certification. Onsite testing enables immediate feedback, with volumetric NDT available as an alternative to mechanical testing. Clients receive a complete certification package, including WPS, PQRs and welder qualification records.

DEG Survey & Inspection provides inspection, testing and certification of ships’ lifting appliances and associated gear in accordance with Maritime Rules Part 49.
